- Next story I find that the Gift Deed of the year 1987 is valid in law, wherein the place earmarked as a big park in the layout has been gifted to the Municipality and the 1st respondent Municipality in order to cater the needs of the general public has permitted the Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board to do the needful and carrying their activities and hence, I find that the petitioners have not made prima facie case nor any balance of convenience in their endeavor. On the contrary, I find that there is prima facie case only in respect of the first respondent Municipality and hence, I am not inclined to grant any interim order. 10. - Criminal Malicious prosecution initiated against veteran director Kastooriraja father of actor Dhanush by financier Gagan Bothra for having roped him in a false case.The case pertain to a loan availed by him in 2012 to the tune of ₹65lakhs from late Cine financier Bothra. To discharge that loan, Kastooriraja issued cheques which got dishonoured and late Bothra had filed 138 case and civil suit before high court. During the pendency of those cases, Kastooriraja filed private complaint alleging that blank cheques given by him were misused by Mukanchand Bothra and his son gagan Bothra and initiated private complaint before Vlll MM George Town court. - The Petitioner runs a proprietorship under the name and style CyberX9. They provide cyber security services and have a rich clientele. The Petitioner is also a customer of Star Health insurance Company. Star Health is one of the largest collectors of data of its customers and stores them online through its servers. While doing research on their cyber security, the Petitioner found that there were vulnerabilities in the cyber security of Star Health and the personal data of lot of customers were accessible through the same without the necessity of login and password. The information that was available were the policy details, bank account details, Aadhar card number and other personal information of the customers. The customers include high ranking government officials, politicians, members of the judiciary and other high net worth individuals.
- Senior Advocate Srinath Sridevan, representing Pathak, urged the Court to direct the Union government to initiate an investigation into the incident. However, the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information stated that the inquiry should be conducted by the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA), not the Central government.
