[23/07, 21:01] sekarreporter1: Shri E.V.Chandru @ E.Chandrasekaran, Standing Counsel for Madras High Court, Resource Person for National Judicial Academy and also for the State Judicial Academies of Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Tripura, Telangana, Karnataka and Meghalaya is appointed by the Central Government as NIA Special Public Prosecutor for the Hon’ble High Court of Madras and Special Court for NIA in Puducherry vide Notification.

New Delhi, the 18th July, 2024
S.O. 2809(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 15 of the National
Investigation Agency Act, 2008 (34 of 2008), read with sub-section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagarik
Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri E.V. Chandru alias E. Chandrasekaran
as Special Public Prosecutor for conducting the cases on behalf of National Investigation Agency before NIA Special
Courts at Puducherry established by law in the territory of UT of Puducherry and High Court of Madras in the
territory of State of Tamil Nadu for a period of three years with effect from the date of publication of this notification.
