Heard Mr.S.Shanmugasundaram, learned counsel for the
petitioner, Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned State Government Pleader assisted by Mr.T.K.Saravanan, learned Government Advocate for respondents 3 to 5 and Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor assisted by Mr.Sylvester John, learned counsel for
respondents 1 and 2.

  1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that large scale
    misappropriation has been conducted in the PMAY(G) scheme. Amounts have been disbursed, but no houses are constructed nor any solar powered green houses have been constructed in the site. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner is making such statements on the basis of the information received under the Right to Information Act, 2005.
  2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that based on the complaint given by one Manoharan, 25 witnesses have been examined and 8 are yet to be examined. The enquiry would be
    conducted in a short span of time.
  3. We place the matter on 23.04.2024. Status report shall be
    submitted on or before the said date by the respondents.
