[15/07, 19:16] sekarreporter1: [15/07, 18:58] Dr Ramaswamy: Tamil Nadu Transport Finance Corporation Limited must pay Rs. 15 Crore within One Week to the Income Tax department.

Hon Judge Mr senthil Ramamoorthy direction to Tamilnadu Govt .

Then only they can go for statutory Appeal. Dr. B. Ramaswamy Senior Standing Counsel vehemently opposed the AG of Tamil Nadu arguments. AG of Tamil Nadu wanted to dispose Section 154 application in the Income Tax Department. Dr. B. Ramaswamy opposed strongly that Section 154 cannot be disposed immediately as per the Act. We need six months. AG of Tamil Nadu also requested to file all the data through physical mode. Dr. B. Ramaswamy opposed stating that in digital India, the Statutory Act does not allow to file anything manually. Hon’ble Judge, had agreed to Dr. B. Ramaswamy arguments and not allow the petitioner to file anything manually. Therefore for Tamil Nadu Transport Development Corporation has no other options expect to pay Rs 15 Cr. and upload all the documents digitally not manually and as directed by the Hon’ble Judge that the Tamil Nadu Transport Corporation should go for Statutory Appeal not to file at High Court. The Writ Petition is dismissed.
