The 14 years of discrimination and denial of rights to OBC Students across the country in admission to Medical and Dental courses was removed since 29.7.2021 and hence today is a watershed moment day! While stepping in to 2nd year of celebrations, the steps taken by Hon’ble @mkstalin CM of TN and President of DMK in waging legal war against Union Government in High Court and Supreme Court through me to get 27% OBC reservations in State Surrendered seats in All India Quota has to be recalled and appreciated. Under guidance and advice of Hon’ble @mkstalin ,this is one of the important case I appeared and argued which enabled the #OBC students situated across the country to secure their rights in Medical and Dental courses in State Surrendered Seats to All India Quota. Thus the 14 years of discrimination to #OBC students was removed by @mkstalin Due to continuous Legal fight undertaken by @mkstalin through me in High Court and Supreme Court, fearing for contempt proceedings and due to order dated 19.7.2021 of Madras High Court staying the NEET EXAMS, on 29.7.2021 the Union Government in the Contempt Petition filed by #DMK party, with great hesitation accepted to grant 27% OBC reservations every year. This historical 29.7.2021 order secures rights of #OBC Students across country to get about 4022 seats in Medical courses(MBBS and PG) and 1000 seats in Dental courses every year. I am proud and happy to inform you that under guidance, leadership and consistent stand of @mkstalin , DMK is able to secure totally 5022 (subject to increase every year) seats every year to OBC students. Today we are entering in to the 2nd successful year which means about 11,044 Medical and Dental seats to OBC students has been secured for the academic years 2022 – 2023 and 2023-2024 ! This will multiply every year. This is real #SocialJustice our Hon’ble @mkstalin got for whole of India and let’s celebrate this great day .
