Challenging the impugned Refusal Check Slip dated 25.04.2024 passed by the respondent, this writ petition has been filed.

  1. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he has annexed a copy of the order of the Division Bench of this Court in N. Ramayee Vs. The Sub Registrar [(2020) 6 CTC 697], when the document in question was presented for registration before the respondent, however, the impugned refusal check slip has been issued, citing that the Sale Agreement has already been registered in respect of same property.
  2. If such being the case, it is nothing, but deliberate disobedience of the directions of this Court by the respondent and in fact, this Court is inclined to proceed against him, for committing contempt of Court.
  3. At this stage, the learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent submitted that, he would instruct the respondent to register the document, if it is presented by the petitioner tomorrow and report before this Court.
  4. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to submit the document tomorrow i.e., on 14.06.2024 before the respondent for registration.
  5. Post this matter “for reporting compliance” on 19.06.2024. The respondent, who passed the impugned order dated 25.04.2024, is directed to be present before this Court on 19.06.2024.
