In a recent judgement, the Madras High Court upheld the removal of Uma Kant, an ex-constable of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), for using another CISF constable’s ATM card without permission. The case, titled “Uma Kant v. The Inspector General,” was presided over by the Hon’ble  Justice R.N. Manjula. The judgement was reserved on March 1, 2024, and pronounced on April 3, 2024 (W.P.No. 1898 of 2021).
