Hence, interim injunction restraining the defendants from using the registered trademark ‘Ambur Star Briyani’ is ordered till January 30, 2020.”Stating that the photographs of the defendants, wherein the name ‘Star’ is identical and the colour and design are predominant beneath the word ‘Ambur Briyani’ is shown, the judge recorded that though notices had been delivered to the defendant, there was no representation.
