PETITION TO FOR INTERIM INJUNCTION

SYNOPSIS
The petitioner’s son completed 10th and 12th (Plus Two) and securing high marks. After passing 12th, he appeared in NEET UG 2024 examinaition and secured 671 marks out of 720 and was given All India Rank 13929. However, several students have been granted grace marks by the 2nd respondent without any transparency and the petitioner’s rank, who has secured 671/720, was rated as 4000 in the previous NEET UG 2023, whereas by awarding grace marks to several students, his rank has slided to 13929. The awarding of grace marks throughout the country for various students across various centres for loss of time to complete the NEET UG 2024 is done in non-transparent manner. Further there is also no rationale for awarding such grace marks for each and every students and consequently it has resulted in illegal awarding of grace marks. The petitioner’s son is seriously aggrieved by the same and therefore the present writ petition is being preferred.
