A. Public Interest Litigation was filed by B. JAGANNATH, a practising Advocate of the Madras High Court ,

to establish & set up a Special Investigation Team to investigate into certain serious allegations of Misappropriations of Temple Funds by Hr & Ce Department officials without proper sanction & following due process of law.

Shri. Ravi Seshadri, Senior Advocate appeared on behalf of R. Kannan – Counsel for Petitioner.

It was argued in length about the detailed irregularities & financial Mis appropriation of temple funds.

Notice was taken by Shri . Muthukumar – Government Pleader for Respondents & after advice of the First Bench – The Learned Senior undertook to Implead Hr & Ce Department as party Respondents & also had served papers to Arun Natrajan Special Government Pleader for Hr & Ce Department. Permission was granted to Petitioner to move registry to place a request to post this matter before Special Bench of RMDJ & PDAJ. Matter has been adjourned to 6/7.
