_”I always use concise, even terse language and avoid repetition. Of course, I worked hard. I had frequently to estimate the number of hours I wanted for my work every morning and set my alarm clock for an abnormally early hour in the morning so that the needed time may be available. Occasionally, if the nature of the work made it difficult to form an estimate, I worked late into the night. The notes which I prepared were most useful; but preparing them meant careful reading and expenditure of much time and labour”_
