[01/08, 12:29] sekarreporter1: Today that is on first August a writ petition relating to protection of the village Temple Sridevi kanniamman Temple which is more than 100 years old in survey number 42/6 measuring an extent of 44 cents at Perumbuli medu village old cheyyar taluk now vembakam taluk Tiruvannamalai district was listed before the honorable first bench of the Madras High Court as item number 21. Mr Bhaskar the petitioner prayed for protection of the ancient Temple which has been acquired for sipcot industrial park at cheyyar phase II en compassing Mathur Mangal chellaperumbulimedu, Perumbuli medu and five other villages in vembakkam taluk. Sri M. Ramamurthy counsel for the petitioner submitted that his interest is to protect the temple. To this the government pleader submitted that the villagers have put up a new shed. The judges stated that the main deity must be very old. The government was directed to file their response in protecting the temple. In the mean time the honorable bench passed and Interim injunction restraining the authorities from dismantling the temple or preventing the devotees visiting the temple. [01/08, 12:29] sekarreporter1: இன்று ஆகஸ்ட் 1ஆம் தேதி சென்னை உயர்நீதிமன்ற மாண்புமிகு தலைமை நீதிபதி அமர்வு முன்பாக திருவண்ணாமலை மாவட்டம் முன்னர் செய்யார் தாலுக்கா தற்போது வெம்பாக்கம் தாலுக்கா பெரும்புளி மேடு கிராமம் சர்வே நம்பர் 42/6 உள்ள ஸ்ரீதேவி கன்னியம்மன் கோவில் என்கின்ற கிராம தேவதை கோவிலை பாதுகாக்க கோரி திரு பாஸ்கர் என்பவர் ரைட் மனு தாக்கல் செய்து அது விசாரணைக்கு வந்தது வழக்கறிஞர் திரு எம் ராமமூர்த்தி மனுதாரருக்கு வாதாடினார் மேற்படி கிராம தேவதை கோவில் நூறு வருடங்களுக்கு மேலாக இருப்பதாகவும் மனுதாரரின் கொள்ளு பாட்டனார் திரு போல் நாயுடு அவர்கள் பெயரில் பட்டா உள்ளிட்ட ரெவென்யு அறிக்கைகள் பதிவாகியுள்ளதாகவும் சுட்டிக்காட்டினார் அரசு தர ப்பு வழக்கறிஞர் வாதாடுகையில் கோவிலின் மேல் உள்ள செட் புதிதாக போடப்பட்டுள்ளது என்று கூறினார் அதற்கு நீதிபதி அவர்கள் கோவிலின் கருவறை படத்தை சுட்டிக் காண்பித்து இது புதிதாக இருக்கும் முடியாது பழமையானது தான் என்று கூறினர் இதனை அடுத்து மொத்தம் 44 செண்டுகள் உள்ள கோவில் பகுதி முழுவதும் செய்யாறு சிப்காட் தொழில் பூங்காவிற்காக ஆர்ஜிதம் செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது என்று அரசு தரப்பு வழக்கறிஞர் கூறினார் மனுதாரர் தரப்பில் கோவில் உள்ள பகுதி மட்டும் பாதுகாக்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்று கோரிக்கை விடப்பட்டது இதனை ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட நீதிபதிகள் கோயில் உள்ள பகுதியை எந்த தொந்தரவும் செய்யக்கூடாது என்றும் பக்தர்கள் வழிபடுவதற்கு எந்த இடையூறும் ஏற்படுத்தக் கூடாது என்றும் இடைக்கால உத்தரவு பிறப்பித்து விசாரணையை ஒத்தி வைத்துள்ளனர்
