[12/1, 17:22] sekarreporter1: In a significant judgment rendered by the Division Bench comprising of Hon’ble Mr.Justice S.Vaidyanathan and Hon’ble Mr.Justice K.Rajasekar, wherein a Writ petition was filed challenging the appointment of persons on temporary basis to the post of Junior Administrative Assistants in the TN State Legal Services Authority, Senior Advocate Singaravelan represented the Petitioners by contending that proper procedure was not followed in making the apointments. Per Contra, Mr. Naveen Kumar Murthi, Advocate, representing the TN State Legal Services Authority, by relying on Rule 13(2) of the TN State Legal Services Authority Rules 1997, contended that the service conditions of the staff would be governed by the TN Judicial Ministerial Service Rules and therefore, no provisions have been violated. Agreeing with the submissions of Mr.Naveen Kumar Murthi, the Hon’ble Bench refused to interfer with the appointments under challenge and disposed of the writ petition with a direction to make an advertisement in the official website from the forthcoming recruitment.
