[24/02, 21:51] sekarreporter1: I attended a conference on “The Constitution and Unity of India” held in Bangalore today organized by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka. I was invited to speak on the topic of “the linguistic dimensions of federalism”.

It was heartening to see that Hon’ble @siddaramaiah is organizing such conferences to commemorate the 75th year of adoption of the Constitution of India. The conference aims to reaffirm the commitment to constitutional values and discuss various constitutional issues, including fundamental rights, states’ autonomy, federalism, tax distribution among states, secularism, social justice, linguistic identity, and federalism. I appreciate the efforts put in by @drhcm1953, Hon’ble Social Welfare Minister, Govt of Karnataka, towards the success of this conference.
