ORDER This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.163 of 2011, dated

28.05.2011, registered by the first respondent police and now pending on the file of the second respondent police.

2.It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR in Crime No.163 of 2011, for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 324, 354, 379, 307 r/w 109 IPC was registered on 28.05.2011.  Despite completion of twelve years, investigation has not been completed and final report has not been filed, therefore this petition seeking direction for fixing a timeline for filing of the final report.

3.This Court does not understand the reason for taking this long time for completion of investigation and filing of final report.  It is the case where it is alleged that the accused in this case had robed the gold chain of the defacto complainant worth Rs.2,00,000/-.  As a result, defacto complainant suffered head injury.

4.Considering the nature and seriousness of the allegations made in the complaint, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
