M Sc -Wildlife Biology candidates challenged the Rule 5(1)(a) of special Rules for Tamil Nadu Forest subordinate service , which is given preferential to B.Sc Forestry candidates in the Appointment of Forest Range Officers without including their M Sc degree along B Sc Forestry, is violative of Article 14 of Constitution of India and against earlier inclusion. The amendment has been struck down by the court and directed the state to issue amendments by including M Sc Wildlife Biology along with Forestry.
