Justice A P Sahi and Justice Subramonium Prasad said dismissing petitions from N S Sivakumar and five others. Petitioners are backward class candidates. They claimed relaxation in age on a par with SC/ST candidates, which stands at 48 years, on the ground that they also belong to reserved category. TAMIL NADU STATE LEGAL SERVICES AUTHORITY (TNSLSA) HIGH COURT CAMPUS, CHENNAI- 600 104 PRESS RELEASE The Hon’ble Executive Chairman, National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) had directed to hold National Lok Adalats on 11.02.2023, on 13.05.2023, on 09.09.2023, on 09.12.2023 of this year. Today, (09.12.2023) 4th National Lok Adalat were held on all subjects matters across the State. As per the guidance of His Lordship Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjay Vijaykumar Gangapurwala, the Chief Justice, High Court, Madras/Patron-in-Chief of TNSLSA and as per the directions of His Lordship Hon’ble Mr.Justice S.Vaidyanathan, Judge, High Court, Madras/Executive Chairman of TNSLSA, this Authority has directed all the Legal Services Institutions across the State to hold National Lok Adalat today i.e 09.12.2023 (Saturday) in all the Courts in the State of Tamil Nadu. In all the District Legal Services Authorities and Taluk Legal Services Committees across the State 480 benches were constituted and cases disposed off as detailed below as at 6.00 P.M. S.
