In the last five decades of my professional life, I have been approachable and available, at all times, to every lawyer in difficulty. This has helped me win numerous friends, a fact I take immense pride in. As President of SCBA, Vice-Chairman of Bar Council of India and Chairman of Bar Council of Delhi, I spent all my time in the affairs of the Bar and that helped me obtain a clear understanding of the problems faced by our colleagues. It is for this reason that my peers have bestowed their faith in me to take up issues with the Judiciary and also the Government.
