PRAYER: Plaint filed under Order VII Rule 1 of the CPC., 1908 r/w. Order IV Rule 1 of the High Court Original Side Rules praying for the judgment and decree against the defendants as follows:
(i)Directing the defendants jointly and severally to pay the
sum of Rs.1 Crore (Rupees One Crore Only) along with interest at the rate of 24% per annum from the date of plaint, till the date of payment, towards the damages and compensation to the plaintiff;
(ii)For permanent injunction, restraining the defendants and
their men and agents from in any manner, publishing any further defamatory articles, statements, photos or caricatures imputing the character or insinuating the reputation or linking the name of the plaintiffs and the second plaintiff’s brother S.P.Velumani with any person(s) or defaming the name of the plaintiffs and the second plaintiff’s brother S.P.Velumani in any manner; and
(iii)To pay the cost of the suit.

J U D G M E N T
The learned counsel for the plaintiff seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Civil Suit and he has also made an endorsement
to that effect.
2. In view of the submission of the learned counsel for the
plaintiff and the endorsement so made, this Civil Suit is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Registry is directed to return the Court Fee if
permitted, as per the rules.
