Heard Mr.A.K.M.Samsu Nihar, learned counsel for the
petitioner; Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader for respondents 1 and 3; Ms.Shanmugavalli Sekar, learned counsel for the second respondent; and, Mr.K.Sathish Kumar, learned counsel for the fourth respondent.
2. Learned counsel for the fourth respondent submits that an Expert Committee has been constituted to study the pros and cons of use of tetra packs and also for introduction of the scheme of buying back of bottles throughout the State of Tamil Nadu. As far as the use of tetra packs is concerned, the Committee is yet to
submit the report.
3. In the light of the above, at present, no orders can be passed in the present writ petition. Depending upon the report of the Committee, it will be open for the aggrieved person to take up
appropriate proceedings.
4. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.24533
of 2023 is closed.
