[2/28, 12:28] Sekarreporter 1: Today 28.02.2022 Former ADMK Minister Mr.D.Jayakumar was produced before the Alandur court in order to remand him in another case regiatered by chennai CCB police. This matter came up before Learned JM judge at alandur. Mr.A.Natarajan Senior advocate (Former State PP) appeared for former minister and vehemently objected the remand petition stating that there is no remand is required since no offence is made out. He stated that the whole dispute is a civil matter and a case related to family members of Mr.Naveen who is the son-in-law of Former minister. The complainant in this case is none other than the own younger of the said Mr.Naveen. So only fot political vendetta he was been implicated in this case and 41(a) noticr was not served to Jayakumar. Mr.A.Natarajan also relied that citation of Hon’ble supreme court in Arnesh kumar and Madras Highcourt judgement in Nakeeran Gopal case. He argued that when one of the accused is servef with 41(a) then why not it is served on Mr.Jayakumar. A.Natarajan also pointed about the judgement of Hon’ble supreme court in Mr.K.T.Rajendra Balaji case were court granted interim bail on the ground that 41(a) was not complied. Hence after hearing all the argument of A.Natarajan and PP the court had passed over the case for passing orders.
[2/28, 12:28] Sekarreporter 1: One more point argued by A.Natarajan is the complaint is 2016 matter but wheres CCB police regustered the FIR on 24.02.2022 only for keep the petitioner inside prison on political reasons.
