[04/04, 17:23] sekarreporter1: Orders were pronounced by Hon’ble Justice N.Anand Venkatesh in a huge batch of writ petitions challenging the refixation of pay band of Assistant Engineers across PWD and Corporation of Chennai and other departments and his Lordship allowed all the writ petitions concurring with the submissions made by Senior Counsel N.L.Rajah and Mr.Naveen Kumar Murthi, Advocate and also Mr.V.Karthic Senior Advocate and other Advocates by holding that the PGRC failed to undertake a fresh exercise as per the direction of the Hon’ble Supreme Court and since the terms of reference itself was not in line with the direction of this Hon’ble Court as confirmed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the ultimate decision of such a PGRC is bound to be erroneous.
