The Hon’ble Executive Chairman, National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) had directed to hold Lok Adalats on specific subject matters.

As per the guidance of His Lordship Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sanjay Vijaykumar Gangapurwala, the Chief Justice, High Court, Madras/Patron-in-Chief of TNSLSA and as per the directions of His Lordship Hon’ble Mr.Justice S.Vaidyanathan, Judge, High Court, Madras/Executive Chairman of TNSLSA, this Authority has directed all the Legal Services Institutions across the State of Tamil Nadu to hold Lok Adalat on Specific Subject matters (Intellectual Property Rights, Consumer Cases and other matters pending before any other quasi-judicial Authority) today i.e. 10.06.2023 (Saturday).
In District Legal Services Authorities and Taluk Legal Services Committees across the State 149 benches were constituted and cases disposed off as detailed below as at 5.00 P.M.

The High Court Legal Services Committee has constituted 4 benches at the Principal Seat of High Court, Madras consisting of Hon’ble Mr. Justice D.Bharathachakravarthy, Hon’ble Mr. Justice P.B.Balaji, Hon’ble Mrs. Justice R.Kalaimathi and Hon’ble Mrs. Justice K.Govindarajan Thilakavadi, Judges, High Court of Madras and at Madurai Bench of Madras High Court has constituted 3 benches consisting of Hon’ble Mrs. Justice L.Victoria Gowri, Hon’ble Mr. Justice K.K.Ramakrishnan and Hon’ble Mrs. Justice S.Ananthi Retired Judge of High Court, Madras as Presiding Officer of Lok Adalat.
