Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to fix “terms and conditions” and permit the counsel for the petitioner to produce the sureties in compliance.

ORDER :   This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.G.BALAJI, Advocate for the petitioner, the court made the following order:-

Terms and Conditions:

The Petitioner herein is the convict in the above Suo Motu Cont.P(MD) No.1124/2022. He was sentenced  to undergo Six months Simple imprisonment by the Hon’ble High Court vide order dated 15.09.2022. Accordingly, warrant was issued and was confined to central Prison,Cuddalore. Now, the Petitioner produces a copy of the order of the Apex court wherein the Hon’ble Apex Court suspended the sentence of the petitioner on the terms and conditions to be fixed by the Registrar of the Madras High Court. The Hon’ble Apex Court also directed the petitioner to refrain from making  any videos and posting them on Youtube and from making any comments regarding the proceedings and orders by the Hon’ble High Court on the Social Media. Now the Petitioner seeks to fix the terms and conditions as directed by the Hon’ble Apex court for his release on bail.

Therefore, upon considering the request of the Petitioner and the Order of the Hon’ble Apex Court, the following conditions are imposed:

  • The Petitioner is directed to execute a bond for Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) with two Sureties for a like sum each;

  • To appear before the Judicial Magistrate VI, Madurai, daily at 10.30 am until further orders.
  • During the period of suspension of sentence, the Petitionershall not make any comments or any other related activities on the Social Media, as directed by the Hon’ble Apex Court.

(D)The Petitioner shall appear before the Hon’ble High Court as and when directed by this Court.

(E)The Petitioner shall not indulge in anyother activities offending the judiciary.
