Native of a teatoller village, Alumni of Madurai Law College, Justice Raja, a first generation advocate, after a brief period of practice at Madurai District Court, he has shifted his practice to the Supreme Court, there he keenly observing a lot of stalwards submissions, and enriched himself as a legal luminary.
A Turning point in his Lordship legal life was a Southen District DMK functionary murder case. During that period his lordship was appointed, AAG in the Madurai Bench of the Madras of High Court, before his elevation to the Bench.
This Most Powerful Diravitian decorated the coveted First Chamber of our Historical High Court,,( eventhough the Collegeium recommends his immediate transfer to Rajasthan,thanks a lot to previous law minister Ritju) a full six months, till his retirement amidst a lot of envy of our “learned brothers”
