In Thoothukudi Prl. Sessions Court, the DA case filed by DVAC against Mr Anitha Radhakrishnan & others came up for trial. On behalf of ED a petition under sections 301 & 302 of Cr PC read with Sec.66 of PMLA was filed in April 2023, seeking permission to assist the prosecution and for sharing information. Today all the respondents have filed their respective objections. ED was ready to commence argument, however, the counsel for accused were not ready. The Hon’ble Court has acceded to the prayer on behalf of ED that till the disposal of the petition filed by ED, witnesses will not be examined further. The case is now stands posted to 2.8.2023 for argument.
