Mr P. Wilson appearing for DMK submitted that since one part of elections conducted in January 2020 and other part of elections are going to be conducted by State Election commission, the contempt proceedings may be accordingly be put to an end. Mr Siva Shanmugam appearing for state Election commission submitted that steps are being taken to conduct and complete elections for all left over local bodies . Recording the same the contempt is closed by the Division Bench.
