When justice Anitha Sumanth asked whether Dr K Veeramani, shown in the invitation, holds any constitutional post. Mr Wilson while replying that Dr K Veeramani is the General Secretary of Dravida Kazhagam, founded by Thanthai Periyar, is a highly respected and revered personality submitted that he is not holding any constitutional posts. The Dmk has adopted the principles of Thanthai Periyar and is following his preachings which include equality, brotherhood, rationalism, self respect and eradication of caste system.
