Regarding quantum of punishment, the proved charges are grave in nature and therefore, there is no reason whatsoever to interfere with the quantum of punishment. The punishment cannot be construed as excessive or disproportionate. For all these reasons, the writ petition fails and stands dismissed. No costs.
