“In the result the accused is found guilty of commission of offence under section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act 1881. Therefore, the 2nd accused is sentenced to undergo simple imprisonment for 6 months as per section 255(2) of Crpc and both accused he directed to pay a sum of Rs. 31,78,436/- to the complainant within 8 weeks from the date of judgment as compensation as per section 357 of Crpc Read with 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act. If default in payment of compensation the 2nd accused shall undergo simple imprisonment for 6 weeks.”
