Learned Advocate General makes a statement that it is only if the trustees of the temples volunteer and approve, the amount of the temple will be utilised for permissible purposes. He further submits that the impugned G.O.(Ms.) No.13, dated 12.1.2022, would be withdrawn by the government. We have heard Mr.Niranjan Rajagopalan, learned counsel for the petitioner; and Mr.R.Shunmugasundaram, learned Advocate General, assisted by Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Special Government Pleader (HR&CE), for the respondents.
2. Though certain arguments were made by learned counsel for the petitioner with regard to the non-observance of the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 and the Rules framed thereunder before passing the impugned
government order, we need not go into the same.
3. Learned Advocate General makes a statement that it is only if the trustees of the temples volunteer and approve, the amount of the temple will be utilised for permissible purposes. He further submits
