      UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following
                         O R D E R
  1. Mr. Shekhar Naphade and Mr. A. Sirajuddin, learned senior counsels, on instructions from Mr. Elephant G. Rajendran (party inperson), Mr. A. Mohandoss, Mr. S. Mahaveer Shivaji and Mr. Vijay Narayan state that they do not want to press the allegations made against Senior Advocate Mr. P.H. Pandian (since deceased), or the Madras Bar Association and they unconditionally withdraw all such allegations.
  2. Mr. Shekhar Naphade, learned senior counsel, further states that the purpose of filing these special leave petitions is to seek uniform guidelines to strengthen the institution of Bar Associations throughout the country.
  3. Issue notice for the limited purpose of laying down the broad guidelines that may be followed for strengthening and enhancing the status and streamlining the overall functioning of Bar Associations throughout the country, returnable on 08.04.2024.
  4. Mr. V. Balaji, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Madras Bar Association.
  5. Learned counsels for the petitioners undertake to move application(s) for impleadment of all the necessary respondents. Needful may be done within two weeks.
  6. Meanwhile, learned counsel for the parties and those who are inclined to assist us may formulate the issues that would require consideration.
  7. The title of the proceeding, as agreed, shall be:
    “In Re: Strengthening of the Institution of Bar Associations.”
