Mr.Justice G.R.Swaminathan, heard the matter in detail and was pleased to allow the Writ Petition and directed to Exhume the deceased Writ petitioners body from the petitioners house and to conduct the customary practise and prayers with the help of the Writ Petitioners brother Rev.Fr.Gerome and bury the body within the grave yard of the church and further directed the District Collector, Kanyakumari and the Superintendent of Police to strictly implement the order in its letter and sprit. [12/15, 18:43] sekarreporter1: The writ petition filed by our client Mr.Jegan, before the Madras High Court, Madurai Bench praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to exhume the mortal remains of the Writ Petitioners wife Late Mrs.Revitha and to perform the final rites as per custom and bury her body at Punitha Valanar Chruch, Pillaithoppu and to take stringent action against you, has been numbered as W.P.(MD).No.30053 of 2023. Emergent motion for admission has been permitted by the Hon’ble Madurai Bench and the matter was taken at 01.Pm today (15.12.2023).
