Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari to call for the entire records connected with the impugned notice issued by the 3rd respondent in
Na.Ka.P1/Pa.Ve.154/2014 dated 21.08.2014 and quash the same.
Today [03.01.2022], this writ petition is listed under the caption
“For Clarification”.
2.The case is listed pursuant to the letter sent by one Mr.A.Thirumuruga Dinesh, stating that steps are taken to erect a statue in the public place nearby Tirupur Railway Station bus stop which is already considered as accident prone zone. It is contended that steps taken for erection of statue is in violation of the judgment of this Court dated 07.10.2021 passed in W.P.No.23140 of 2014. However, this Court is not clear as to whether any permission has been granted by the competent authority for the purpose of erection of statue in the public place, more specifically, near Tirupur Railway Station bus stop.
3.Mr.M.Rajendiran, learned Additional Government Pleader is
directed to get instructions from the District Collector, Tirupur District and also from the Home Secretary, Government of Tamil Nadu and inform whether any permission has been granted or not.
4.For getting further instructions, list this matter on 04.01.2022.
