S.R.K. Basu Ismail Sahib & Co, filed W.P.No. 3780 of 2021 before the Madras High Court to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents viz. Custodian of Enemy Property of India to consider the Petitioners representation dt. 18.01.2022 within a period stipulated by the high Court.SRK Baby Ismail Sahib & co filed W.P.No. 715 of 2021 before the Madras High Court to forbear the Respondents viz. Custodian of enemy property of India and state authorities from evicting the Petitioner from the premises situated at Old No. 12, new No. 25, Armenian Street, Mannadi, Chennai – 1 except by due process of law.Today (7.2.2024) both the Writ Petitions came up for hearing before Hon’ble Mr. Justice S.M.Subramaniam of the Madras High Court.The Learned Judge after hearing both sides, dismissed the Writ Petitions and observed that the Respondents can evict by following the applicable procedure.Once the copy of the order is made ready, the exact directions would be known.
