2. As per the directions issued by this Court in W.P.(MD)Nos.7746
of 2002 and etc., batch, dated 23.09.2020, with regard to the pendency of
the Involving Sub-Division and Not involving Sub-Division applications
for grant of patta, a status report has been filed by the Commissioner of
Survey and Settlement, Chennai, dated 30.04.20201.
3. In the said status report, the details of month-wise OPT-ISD
applications received and disposed of during the period from 01.10.2020
to 31.03.2021 and the details of steps taken to increase the disposal of the
applications are furnished and the same reads as follows:
“The details of month-wise OPT-ISD applications received,
disposed of during the period 01.10.2020 to 31.03.2021 and the
regular and additional manpower involved in the work are given
below:

5. Insofar as the other directions are concerned, Commissioner of
Land Administration Department has not filed status report.
6. Learned Senior Standing Counsel for the Government seeks
three weeks time to file Status Report before this Court furnishing all the
details of the pending and disposal of the applications upto July 2021 and
also to file the report with regard to the compliance of further directions
issued by this Court.
