Justice Ramasubramaniam : The Lordship’s satire on his own self that how he is being addressed, is lighter in vain! Generally speaking, the Lordships have more sense of humour than the persons of other walks of life! An incident of 2006 at the Madras High Court Hall is fresh in my mind. The Lordship with another was at the Chair. The case was withdrawing the Writ challenging the Demolition Order of CMDA under Certio Rarified Mandamus by the opposit party, in which I impleaded myself. When the Withdrawal was allowed, I stood up and made submission to the Lordships that I had invested

I also said that I too have financial stress and strain which the Hon’ble Court did not consider. The Lordship in all his nobility said calmly that the withdrawal is within the law and hence the two member bench allowed the petition. The calmness with which the Lordship handled the situation, is fresh in my memory which I shared with my other viewers.
