Sir / Madam, Sub: Implementation of Court Orders within the time limit prescribed — To comply the Court orders (or) to file Appeals in time without delay in order to avoid filing of Contempt Proceedings – Certain Instructions issued. Ref: 1. Circular No.38605/CCMS/2020-1, Public (CCMS) Dept, dt.23.12.2020. Letter No.6609/CCMS/2021-1,Public (CCMS) Dept, dt.27.02.2021 I am to invite attention to the references cited. The Hon’ble Chief Justice, Hon’ble High Court of Madras has observed that in respect of Orders issued by the Hon’ble Court, implementation of Court Orders are not followed within the stipulated time by the Departments. Of late, it is observed that Writ Appeals are also not filed within the stipulated time given in the Court Orders. This causes the petitioners in most cases to file Contempt against Government Departments for non-implementation of Court Orders.
