The Two-Day National Seminar with Workshop on ChatGPT and Artificial Intelligence began with the Inaugural Function at 10.00 a.m. today in Presidency College, Chennai with Dr. S.Elumalai, Registrar, University of Madras as the Chief Guest and Dr. R.Raman, Principal of the college presiding over the function.
Dr. B.Muthukumaran, the Organising Secretary welcomed the gathering. Dr.R.Raman, in his presidential address explained the evolution of ChatGPT and its applications and uses in academics, especially in research. Dr.S.Elumalai, in his Chief Guest address emphasised not only the benefits of ChatGPT, but also the framework within which it can work. He called upon the students to come out with their own algorithms and operating system instead of depending on the tools developed by the Western world. Dr.P.K.Karuppasamy, Organising Secretary proposed vote of thanks. With the likes of Dr. G.Sekar, Dr. K.Ramesh, and Dr. Sasikala gracing the event as the Coneners of the event, attendees will gain valuable insights and engage in thought-provoking discussions.
