The government should rope in experts and NGOs to spread awareness among public, he added.Recording the submissions, the court posted the plea to February 24 for the authorities to file the report.

When the bench posed a question as to within what time the encroachment would be removed the aag replied stating that the policy of the Government is peaceful eviction and not forceful eviction. Since order was not complied contempt petition was filed in No639/19 and Hon’ble CJ bench on 30/06/22 directed the respondents to comply with the order in 2 weeks failing appearance of contemners was ordered and posted the case today. Corporation cleared all encroachments and filed a compliance report today and hence contempt was closed.
