As directed by the Hon’ble Executive  Chairman,  National Legal Services  Authority, New Delhi and as per the directions of The Hon’ble Patron in-Chief/ Hon’ble The Chief Justice, Hon’ble Mr.Justice Sanjay V.Gangapurwala, The Hon’ble Mr.Justice D.Krishnakumar, Chairman, High Court Legal Services Committee (HCLSC), and the Hon’ble Committee Judges of the HCLSC, Hon’ble Mr.Justice S.M.Subramaniam, Hon’ble Mr.Justice RMT.Teekaa Raman,  Hon’ble Mr.Justice N.Sathish Kumar & Hon’ble Mr.Justice C.Saravanan, the High Court Legal Services Committee organized National Lok Adalat today (09.09.2023) at Principal Seat and Madurai Bench.

 

Principal Seat:-  Ten Adalat Benches presided over by Hon’ble Mr.Justice G.Chandrasekharan, Hon’ble Mrs.Justice T.V.Tamilselvi, Hon’ble Mr.Justice Mohammed Shaffiq, Hon’ble Mr.Jusitce J.Sathya Narayana Prasad, Hon’ble Mrs.Justice N.Mala, Hon’ble Mr.Justice Sundar Mohan, Hon’ble Mr.Justice K.Kumaresh Babu, Hon’ble Mr.Justice P.B.Balaji, Hon’ble Mr.Justice V.Lakshminarayanan and Hon’ble Mr.Justice K.Rajasekar, were constituted at Principal Seat at Madras

and

Madurai Bench:- Five Benches presided over by Hon’ble Mrs.Justice S.Srimathi, Hon’ble Mr.Justice R.Vijayakumar, Hon’ble Mr.Justice K.K.Ramakrishnan, Hon’ble Mrs.Justice K.Govindarajan Thilakavadi &  Hon’ble Mr.Justice P.Vadamalai were constituted at Madurai Bench to dispose of the cases.

 

On 30.08.2023, Hon’ble Mr.Justice D.Krishnakumar, Chairman (HCLSC) and other Hon’ble Committee Judges had an interation with the officials of the Insurance Companies, Transport Corporation, other Government Departments as well as their respective counsels for settlement of large number of cases posted before the Lok Adalat.

 

Today in the National Lok Adalat,  large number of Advocates, litigant public, Officials from various Government Departments and Insurance Companies, both Government and Private, actively participated both at Principal seat and at Madurai Bench.

 

Hon’ble Mr.Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Judge, Supreme Court of India/Executive Chairman, National Legal Services Authority, Hon’ble Mr.Justice M.M.Sundresh, Judge, Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble Mr.Jutice Sanjay V.Gangapurwala, Hon’ble Chief Justice/Patron-in-Chief, High Court Legal Services Committee, Hon’ble Mr.Justice S.Vaidyanathan, Chairman, State Legal Services Authority, Hon’ble Mr.Justice R.Mahadevan, Executive Chairman, Union Territory of Puducherry Legal Services Authority,  Hon’ble Mr.Justice D.Krishnakumar, Chairman, High Court Legal Services Committee (HCLSC),  Hon’ble Mr.Justice R.Subramanian, Hon’ble Mr.Justice R.Suresh Kumar,  Hon’ble Mr.Justice A.D.Jagadish Chandira, Hon’ble Mr.Justice M.Dhandapani, Hon’ble Mr.Justice P.D.Audikesavalu, Hon’ble Mr.Justice G.K.Ilanthiraiyan, Hon’ble Mr.Justice A.A.Nakkiran, Hon’ble Mr.Justice D.Bharadha Chakaravarthy, visited the National Lok Adalat and observed Adalat proceedings.

Hon’ble Mr.Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Hon’ble Mr.Justice M.M.Sundresh, Judges, Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble the  Chief Justice of Madras High Court,  Hon’ble Mr.Justice D.Krishnakumar handed over few awards of compensation to the parties .

 

 Thiru.A.Nazir Ahamed, Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority was also present.  The arrangements for the conduct of the National Lok Adalat were made by Tmt.K.Sudha, Secretary/District Judge, HCLSC.
