The Sticker of Advocates in front and rear does tamper or hamper the vehicles. Hence the ingredients of Sec 1988 of M.V. Act is inapplicable and it cannot be removed from the vehicle. The Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) without application of mind mechanically and to his whims and fancies passed an order to remove the sticker. The “Crash Guard” fixed in 4 and 2 wheeler as shown in the photos are an unauthorised interference in the design of the car and it will prevent the openning of air bags in the event of accident The Sticker of Advocates is issued by a statutory body the BCTNP and Traffic Police cannot over ride its power. In any event Sec 198 of M.V.Act is inapplicable to remove the Sticker.
