1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Fourth and Fifth Respondents to conduct the Avathara Utsavam of Swamy Booththaazhwar by performing each and every ritual pertaining to the said ceremony with particular reference to Thirumanjanam and processions as per the customary practices of Sri Sthalasayana Perumal Temple, Mamallapuram, Chengalpattu District based on the representation dated 23.10.2022 issued to the First to Third Respondents and 25.10.2022 issued to all the Respondents.

Heard Mr. Abhinav Parthasarathy, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, Learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the Respondents and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

2. The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Fourth and Fifth

Respondents to conduct the Avathara Utsavam of Swamy Booththaazhwar by performing each and every ritual pertaining to the said ceremony with particular reference to Thirumanjanam and processions as per the customary practices of Sri Sthalasayana Perumal Temple, Mamallapuram, Chengalpattu District based on the representations dated 23.10.2022 and 25.10.2022 made by the

Petitioner.

3. It is accepted by Learned Counsel for both sides that in furtherance to the order passed on 31.10.2022 by the Court, the Avatara Utsavam of Sri Boodathazhwar was conducted on 02.11.2022 and nothing further remains for consideration in the Writ Petition.
4. In the result, the Writ Petition is disposed. Consequently, the connected

Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
