When the case came up for hearing, Learned State Public prosecutor Mr. Hasan Mohammed Jinnah appeared on behalf of the State and informed Court that Government is taking steps to regulate the screening of special shows, Audio Concerts and other public events. He also circulated his letter and the letter of Home Secretary to DGP dated 19.10.2023, to frame Standard Operating Procedure to be adopted for regulating Mega Programmes/ events like conducting Public Concerts, launch of new film audio, trailer of new movies, releasing of new movies. Recording the same, Hon’ble Court disposed off the petition.
