The press reported matter in Hindu & Thina Thanthi was a long drawn battle between the Government of Tamilnadu & a Private Agri-Horticulture Society which had tresspassed, encroached & was illegally occupying Government lands for several years.

Our Kalaignar wanted to take steps to retrieve these govt lands.
On our Kalaignar advice & on the recommendation of our Senior Counsel Mr. Wilson, M.P., Mr. Girirajan, M.P. & our present City P.P. Mr. Devarajan I got impleaded as a Party as the then AIADMK Govt was in favour of the private individual.

The matter went up to Supreme Court & Mr. Wilson had argued on my behalf throughout from High Court to Hon’ble Supreme Court and after a long drawn battle by our Senior Counsel Mr. Wilson, the Government has ultimately passed orders & yesterday evening our Government has taken over the lands.
